The Pequannock Valley School located in Pompton Plains, NJ has a population of 575 students serving grades 6-8. With a heavy emphasis on preparing the students for high school, the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) focus is expanding. A new cutting edge science lab has been added to keep up with this effort and Longo Labs was selected to provide the new equipment. Longo Labs is a highly regarded expert in the field of science lab renovation projects. The equipment was purchased using the ESCNJ/MRESC Purchasing Contract.

STEM - you are seeing it everywhere! What exactly is STEM? STEM is the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education.  It's even gaining the attention of President Barack Obama. The President is quoted as saying: "Science" is more than a school subject, or the periodic table, or the properties of waves. It is an approach to the world, a critical way to understand and explore and engage with the world, and then have the capacity to change that world..."1

The Holy Savior Academy located in South Plainfield, NJ serves Pre-K through Grade 8. Holy Savior Academy operates on the belief that "Using 21st Century Technology to Teach 21st Century Minds". To further their ideology, the school recently underwent some renovations of converting a classroom into a much needed science lab. Longo Labs was selected to plan the space, and to provide and install furniture from Labscape. Located in Walpole, MA, The Norfolk County Agricultural High School is a public high school with a population of over 500 students. The school grounds cover 365 acres offering such concentrations in Animal and Marine Science, Plant Science, Environmental Science, and Diesel and Mechanical Technology. Students attend both academic and vocational classes every day. This high school represents only one of the three schools in Massachusetts advocating agriscience [1] and agribusiness [1].
